Kelly Ann Tran is an Associate Attorney, primarily focusing on bankruptcy law. Ms. Tran has served on the Board of Directors of the San Diego Bankruptcy Forum since January 2009, and in January 2010, she was elected to serve as the organization’s Secretary. Ms. Tran is also a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, Lawyer’s Club, and Pan Asian Lawyers of San Diego, where she serves as a mentor to law students.
Ms. Tran attended the University of California, Los Angeles, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in 2003 in Political Science, specializing in International Relations. In 2007 she received her Juris Doctorate from American University’s Washington College of Law. Ms. Tran’s articles concerning international trade and gaming law have been published in the Gaming Law Review (August 2007) and the Appalachian Journal of Law (December 2006). While attending American University, Ms. Tran interned with the Small Business Administration and served as Staff Member for American University’s International Law Review, President of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society, and Vice President of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association.
Ms. Tran is admitted to practice law in the state of California and before the United States District Courts for the Southern, Northern, Eastern and Central Districts of California.
